Keplies are the legendary Scottich water horse of lore.  A full description is in the program notes on the score.  It opens with mysteriously with a beautiful flute solo. There are interesting percussion instruments toplay such ast wind chimes, brake drum, flexatone, and more.  After the andante tempo for the opening, it moves to a slighter faster tempo to the quarter note equals 96.  Eighth notes are the shortest rhythm.  The song ends with a recap of the opening.
